Flexiworkers was created by a group of ex-recruiters and HR
professionals to assist the contract, casual, part-time or Job share working
community. Our main aim is to assist business and people seeking such work, to
be better able to engage with each other across the spectrum of flexible
working arrangements.
Our combined experience had shown us how hard it was
to align the specific requirements of flexible work within current search methodologies
employed by existing employment portals, causing significant numbers of both
job seekers and employers to waste time when applying or reviewing
applications.
Our goal is to provide the premier portal for all
employers and workers who enjoy or, by virtue of their work constraints, need to
work outside the standard permanent employment arrangement. We work to provide
tools to assist in making the process as time and cost efficient as possible.
We generally identify “flexiworkers” as people falling into
categories such as contractors, ongoing casual staff, freelance workers, students,
hospitality and event workers, working parents, second job employees, those
re-entering the workforce, migrants and older workers, to name but a few.
Flexiworkers provides
the functionality to be able to specify exactly when and where the work is
actually available and align that with a potential workers skills and ability
to work, thus reducing erroneous checking and follow-up required when the
listing functionality only has the ability to specific work type. It also
provides a forum to discuss issues which effect both workers and employers,
thus providing direct, valuable feedback to both sides in the overall flexible
employment process.
